NEPALPAY QR

NRB mandated the National Payment Switch to run a national QR scheme with interoperable transaction and settlement. NCHL implemented NEPALPAY QR for this purpose.

Its components include:

• Static QR codes for merchants and dynamic QR codes for billing systems and POS terminals.
• A QR-based connectIPS payment gateway.
• Merchant acquiring APIs, including merchant-level QR aggregation.
• Inter-network clearing and settlement APIs so that other domestic QR schemes can interoperate.
• An issuing component that banks and wallets integrate into their apps, and a business app for merchants.

A customer of any participating bank, finance company or wallet can scan a NEPALPAY QR to pay, and merchants obtain QR codes through their bank. Transactions are cleared through NCHL and settled through the national payment settlement arrangements.

The scheme is significant because it supports interoperability between different QR networks, so customers do not need a particular app to pay a particular merchant, and it keeps domestic QR transaction processing on national infrastructure.

यसमा व्यापारीका लागि स्थिर र बिलिङ/POS का लागि गतिशील क्युआर, क्युआरमा आधारित connectIPS गेटवे, व्यापारी प्राप्ति API, अन्य स्वदेशी क्युआर स्किमसँग क्लियरिङ र फर्छ्यौट API, बैंक/वालेट एपमा जोडिने जारीकर्ता अंश र व्यापारीका लागि बिजनेस एप पर्छन्।

सहभागी बैंक, वित्त कम्पनी वा वालेटका ग्राहकले NEPALPAY QR स्क्यान गरी भुक्तानी गर्न सक्छन्। यसले विभिन्न क्युआर नेटवर्कबीच अन्तरसञ्चालन बढाउँछ।
