Find the solutions to the following economic crisis prevailing in the country. (a) Foreign exchange reserve of Nepal, which was sufficient for 12 months' import of goods and services a year ago, has been sharply decreased and it is sufficient only for 6.7 months. Briefly discuss the causes of such decrease in foreign exchange reserve. Also suggest remedies of such problem in reference to the measures applied by Nepal Rastra Bank. [10] (b) Inflation has increased this year compared to last year. As a result, goods and services have become expensive and the livelihood of people has become difficult. Inflation, which was within limit last year, has increased this year. Specify the causes of such increment and suggest the measures to control it. [10]
